Waiting isn't my forte

So in the past few days I've been reading some other blogs to see what it is people write on these things.  I've found a few funny and entertaining ones to read, by friends and also complete strangers.  It seems like theres always something happening in their lives that they put a funny twist on, which is why people read what they have to say.  I'm sure that I'll have plenty of things to write about once I'm finally back in Austria... but right now there's not a whole lot going on.

Life post college graduation thus far has been a bit of a motivation suck.  I'm working about four days a week, either at my mom's cafe, or as a substitute teacher for former teachers, and living at home with my parents.  I didn't mind being home last semester since I was student teaching and busy all the time, but now that I've got free time I'd really like to be living on my own again.... I feel like I've complained about this before though so I'll stop.

Anyway, I've finally written up the email that I'm going to send to my Stammschule (main school) in Bad Vöslau to introduce myself to them.  It involved a few weeks of procrastination, an hour or so of trying to figure out what sort of things I should say, since I've no idea who I'm writing to, just whoever happens to check the school's email address (there seems to only be 1).  I sent it off to a friend in Germany to look over before I actually send it, so it hasn't gone yet, but it's a weight off my shoulders.

I've also started looking for apartments in Bad Vöslau.  Mostly I've been trying to figure out HOW to look for apartments since I'm here, but I have to have it all sorted out before I can send in my application for an Austrian residency card which is due by July 1st.  Anyway, not having much luck finding something smallish for a reasonable rent considering what I'll be making.

More than anything (and this is where the post title comes in) I just wish that it were July already.  Then I'd have all the paperwork for Austria done, and I'd be heading up to Waldsee (Bemidji, MN) until the end of August.  I'd be doing something, and I'm sure there will be lots of entertaining stories to tell about teaching at camp.   Then I'd only have a couple weeks at home (which will fly by I'm sure) before leaving for Austria! I can't wait!
